Question is related to co-driver overlay (as asked earlier in the thread). I noticed in the v.15 pre-release notes that: "Added VBO export to allow data recording analysis in external apps (like Circuit Tools)". Is this for sure going to happen, and all a user would have to do is download...

No connection complaints at my side.
Availability of oil temp (or whatever signals) is depending on your vehicle. Not all signals are implemented by car manufacturer.
First it's better to check for yours.

After using Tomtom car kit during 2 years, I now changed for Navigon holders (http://www.navigon.com/portal/int/shop/ ... d=18283372).
It works pretty well and is more stable in high G and bumpy corners.

Please could you say me where you get this Beta firmware which activates 5Hz?
