Re: orientation - phone mount in motorcycle tail
Thanks Harry, I noticed in Settings/Expert Settings/Accelerator Tweaks, two checkbox entries - Reverse Lateral Acceleration & Reverse Longitudinal Acceleration. With them unchecked in the tail position, the acceleration view showed expected values as if it were travelling backwards. Checking bot...

orientation - phone mount in motorcycle tail
Hello Harry, I need to mount the phone in the tail of my track bike & when installed, I can't see the screen, so following calibration instructions on screen will be impossible. https://i.ibb.co/Qn2MWvk/202403280756-HLT-orientation.jpg The top of the screen will point towards the rear & will...

Re: Bluetooth 2.0 not reconnecting
Thanks Harry. I didn't realise that I could add the BT sensor to the list. However, to try it out, I disabled the helper app, connected the re-powered BT sensor at the phone then started HLT. Then went to the sensor list and added the BT04 to the list using the BT+ button. HLT showed that it was con...

Bluetooth 2.0 not reconnecting
I have built a 10 Hz Bluetooth GPS from a BT04-S Bluetooth/serial module and a Reyax RY82530 GNSS Receiver module. It is very cheap and is 8-10x faster than the standard phone GPS. There is only one problem with using it with HLT. It has to be forgotten and re-paired whenever it is powered ON. Norma...

Re: QSTARZ BL-1000GT
Hello Harry, I am thinking of buying a BL-1000GT or the new RaceBox Mini S, both of which record data for app access once back in Bluetooth range (in the pits). 1. HLT normally works in real time, so can it work with these data recording GPS devices? 2. These devices can collect data @ up to 25 Hz. ...

Re: Enter An Alternative Preset Angle Manually
So for a bike, my bike in particular, do I set calibration to Preset or Individually Measured? If the former, then take the bike out for a session select a lap and hit "Recalculate / Acceleration" leave Strength as default (Light) select "Done" choose apply to "Session"...

Enter An Alternative Preset Angle Manually
I used HLT for the first time on my track bike last week with mixed results. i have mounted the phone at -50 degrees in an aluminium case in front of the dash, so I wasn't able to use the Motorcycle Preset, which assumes +70 degrees. Although HLT tried many times to calibrate, I was unable to comple...

Re: Using Reyax GPS sensor
Removing "HC-06" from the filter list solved the problem. It's running at 10Hz.
Thanks Harry.
Now to permanently attach it to the bike and head for Wakefield Park
