Motorcycle mount
I have been trying to convince my brother to use Harry's on his racing motorcycle. He and the scrutineers are pretty anal about having things attached and secure. Any viable options?

Chromebook
Will Laptimer work at all on a Chromebook (running Android)? I am especially interested in the video/gps/obd synching process (I find that somewhat clumsy to do on my phone)?

Synching video to start/stop line
What strategies do others use to synch video to the start/stop line to allow overlaying of Harry's info on a video? I seem to stumble finding the right point accurately. Is it just stab, render and see if it looks right or ...?

Re: Codec for video overlay
Since the video is from a dashcam and the car is in winter storage with no on track scheduled until May (and even that might be COVID affected), it is a little difficult to do a near real test. I was hoping for a reasonable guess. When the time comes I will record in H.265 and assemble and output th...

Re: Codec for video overlay
Yes Android. My camera records in h.265 (optionally but that is the best video option). So likely my best strategy to avoid potential issues is to convert the H.265 to H.264 before transferring to the phone for synchronizing/overlaying using the Laptimer?

Codec for video overlay
Does LapTimer support H.265 codec for video overlay input (and if so does it output in H.265)?

Re: Moving video files to Harry's video location
I am currently on Android 7 -- I am attempting to use the SD card so the location is /storage/xxxx(SD card name)/Android/data.com.harryslaptimertrainer/files/Movies. I did mention in another post that I was able to access and transfer files to the location using Windows File Explorer when connected ...

Moving video files to Harry's video location
I tried a post earlier on this subject but I guess it didn't get approved. Gonna try one more time. I was looking for a way to transfer externally created video files into Harry's movie directory on Android. Couldn't find a way natively at least on Android 7 Nougat. All the file transfer programs I ...
