Re: iPhone and iPad Laptimer Pro

Thanks, wasn't aware of that. So what we need then is for HLT to output to bluescreen? Yes, that would be a nice feature. As the data file is CSV, cannot you concatenate the files together to give one large file of all laps and then use that to generate the gauges? h That's not a bad idea at all. I...

Re: OBD Update Rates with KiwiWifi

I get 3hz on my 2008 Mitsubishi evolution X, and 3hz on my 2011 Porsche Boxster Spyder.

Both of these cars use CAN bus protocol. From my understanding, CAN bus protocol should be able to output 20-40hz. Is the slower update a limitation of the kiwi wifi or the iphone?

Re: iPhone and iPad Laptimer Pro

For overlaying HLT data to external video you can use Dashware, which iirc is about £50. I'm waiting for Dashware to have the ability to render the HLT data to bluescreen and through Adobe Premier align the data with the video. H I have tried dashware, and I currently own trackvision. There are two...

Re: iPhone and iPad Laptimer Pro

Let me first say, thank you for such a great piece of software. I have been trying to find a piece of software that will allow me to overlay Speed/RPM/Gears to my HD GoPro videos. Just a word of caution for you since I bought HLT for the same exact reason. It is very difficult to overlay this infor...

Re: Poor resolution of OBD2 data

Harry, I just had a thought: What if HLT just renders the video for the gauges, timer, etc? Then we could export the video and we could use our own video editing software to overlay your rendered gauges onto gopro video on our own. This would also solve my issue with interpolation. Is this feasable?...

Re: Poor resolution of OBD2 data

Does that mean ones I get the first lap aligned then the rest should follow the lap times... I think what u are saying is that if it is still like v14.4 I would still have to cut the video to fit each lap,but now there will be much less guess work because the first lap will be automatically aligned...

Re: Poor resolution of OBD2 data

Harry, I understand your point of view. However, please consider that the value of your software is significantly increased when it can be used with programs such as trackvision. Since your program already interpolates data to perform it's own video overlay, is there no way to export this? one last ...

Re: Poor resolution of OBD2 data

Thank you for the quick responses, Harry. It is very much appreciated. I do have version 14.4. As you predicted, trackvision skips the empty rows of data and is able to utilize the .csv files. I had a feeling RCPro did 'a little bit' of interpolation during export already. Is there anyway that futur...

Re: Exporting Multiple Days Data

I have the same problem. Is there a solution to this problem? It seems any altering of the file through cut/paste will not allow the dashware/trackvision to recognize the data anymore
