Re: Cancel button doesn't stop external cam (v24.0)

Tired it at my desk just now and it works, so as you said, I suspect the connection timed out.

If I stop it manually do I lose anything compared to if HTL stops it (eg does it make it harder to sync the video or anything like that)?

Re: Cancel button doesn't stop external cam (v24.0)

Let me know what you find. If you can't reproduce it I'll check it will a manual recording sitting at my desk.

Re: No lap times displayed in overlay at Finish line

Of not much consequence as it is now fixed, but I also had the same issue but didn't report it as I thought it was just something I was doing wrong myself.

Thanks for the continual development of this product.

Cancel button doesn't stop external cam (v24.0)

I am using the v24.0 beta on Android and today for the first time I used the external camera feature to have HLT control my GoPro Hero 5. No issues with it starting the recording but at the end of the session if I hit cancel or stop to stop the session, the GoPro would keep recording. Not sure if it...

Can't export GoPro footage using hardware encoding on S8

Just wondering if anyone has had any success exporting GoPro videos using hardware encoding on a Samsung S8 (or similar) android phone. The source footage is manually recorded via a GoPro Hero 5 in 1080p 60FPS, copied to my phone and then associated with the relevant laps. However, I have never been...

Re: Multiple apps accesses OBD [Andriod]

Ok, so I'm not sure if I actually got it working last night or not. I thought I got it to work once, but ever since then if I set the Channel to anything but None I get the warning saying that the 'OBD Update Rate' isn't at an expected speed and the only date I get is the voltage and fuel tank %. Th...

Re: Multiple apps accesses OBD [Andriod]

Thanks, that seems to have worked. Would it be correct to assume that if I wanted to have the ATF temp logged I'd have to map it to one of the three temp sensors that gets logged/recorded (being Oil, coolant and air intake - but not the cat temp)?

Is there any way to check what version you started with. I'm not sure if I used Rookie before Petrol Head.

Re: Multiple apps accesses OBD [Andriod]

Thanks Harry - great support as always. HLT already reports Coolant, Oil and Intake temps. I would like to also get my automatic transmission fluid temps. Having a more detailed look at the settings I can setup custom PIDs so I should be able to do everything I want from within HLT itself. Using tor...

Multiple apps accesses OBD [Andriod]

Is it possible for Harry's Lap Timer and another app (such as Torque) to access OBD data at the same time (on an android device using Bluetooth)?

I'd like to use Torque to log temperatures but also have the additional OBD data being collected by HLT at the same time but not sure if this is possible.
