Re: OBD2 scanner set up
What I'm ultimately trying to figure out is why the throttle/braking graphs as well as the gear/rpm versus my drive line is so far off. It's clear from the G force I'm doing one thing but the tachometer is saying something different.

Re: OBD2 scanner set up
The speed limits on LapTimer in each gear are off by a little bit, not all that much though. I'm not sure where to look for the mistake.
I do know there's an issue with gear 6/7 where the max rpm are 6850/4825 but I don't see a place to specify that.

Re: OBD2 scanner set up
The rpm values for max torque and power look wrong. They will not be the same and a typical value for max torque and the Porsche engines are in the 4tsds. For the gear, please check the drive ratio. Harry What should the graph look like? Which gear? The drive ratio seems to be 3.89 which is what I ...

OBD2 scanner set up
I punched in some data and I wanted to see if I have done it correctly. I have a 2014 Cayman S (981 S). I think the gear ratios are here: https://rennlist.com/forums/987-981-forum/763587-981-gearing-mph-at-redine-in-2nd-3rd.html#post10580765 I'm not sure why but my tachometer/hp are clearly not righ...

Re: Can I use an iPod?
Without GPS it wouldn't know when to start recording. The app has no idea if you're at the track or if it's in a shipping container. You could obviously record with just the device's video recorder app. There's no way to use LapTimer and a device without any kind of GPS. If the Apex Pro has GPS and ...

Re: Can I use an iPod?
Might check to see if your iPod model has GPS. A quick search suggests most of them do not.

Re: Adding GoPro3 videos to laps/sessions fail,
I believe my two issues were that a) I need to combine the two files into one (as I needed the last lap on the first file and the lap completes in the first few seconds of the second file) and b) I need to specify the master video and not the second PIP video (I did this on previous versions of LapT...

Re: Adding GoPro3 videos to laps/sessions fail,
If I want to add video to just the one lap, I would not need to join the video. Isn't that what you said?
If so, would the next step be to copy the video over again?

Re: Adding GoPro3 videos to laps/sessions fail,
The file limits are actually 2GB. It splits at that point. Is it required to join the files? I never had to in the past. What if I just want one lap to have video/export? Two possible reasons: 1) You have not Re-Linked the video after transferring it 2) the video linked is corrupted. Regarding 1: I ...
