Re: Unwanted video zoom

Another feature that tends to mess with FOV is image stabilisation. But than again, not sure how to turn it off outside of the standard spec.

Crash when opening Friends menu

For the last week or so HLT (iOS, tested on two different phones) consistently crashes when opening Friends menu.
Funnily, I had been using it to quickly check on the forum of the v22 beta is available!

Re: Share your video !

Here's a fun ride in a Focus RS in snow at Bemowo airstrip/autodrome this weekend (Michelin Pilot Alpin 4). The Evo (its driver and tires that is) was far better when the track was all covered in ice and snow.

Re: Exported video iseless.

Both are the same 30fps in this case.I have not noticed any problems with 60fps videos (perhaps because even half of 60fps in the pip video is good enough).

Re: Exported video iseless.

I recently noticed reduced frame rate of the PiP reference video (main picture is fine). Is it normal? When rendering the reference video on its own it is nice, as expected. 30fps, 1080p.

OneDrive in addition of Dropbox

I would very much appreciate addition of other cloud storage facilities to HLT workflow (backup / videos). OneDrive would be particularly welcome.

Re: Yaw Rate Chart

Thanks for this. I have set the acceleration data at 60Hz, but on your advice I will up it to 100Hz.
I was more concerned about validity of the acceleration readings once you start moving mostly sideways on the track.

Re: Yaw Rate Chart

I am digging out the venerable thread after a splendind morning sliding around on an icy AX track this morning. If there is a lot of drifting, handbrake U-turns involved, should I use GPS-based acceleration data to compute the yaw rate? I am using a 20hz GPS with a consistent 0.77 HDOP (3m accuracy?...

Re: CarPlay (iOS) / MirrorLink (Android)

We might wait for the carplay forever. In the meantime, there seem to be another solution, alas it is vehicle specific: https://developer.ford.com/pages/applink . I see the available interactions as quite promising - you could possibly even get by without OBD-2 or GPS link! The app could have access...

Re: HLT switches my diesel to OTTO

I am glad to report that the workaround works well.
Horsepower calculation still points to a surprisingly high figures, but it is more sane for sure now. Diesel stays as diesel now.
