Re: PIDs for Porsches

Realize this is an old thread, I wrote that thread and happy to provide background on the CAN bus, the mappings I found, and how tapped into the CAN bus.

Re: Laptimer with Go Pro Hero 6

Hi Harry - just had an abbreviated track day at Road Atlanta, and LapTimer recognized my Hero6 and kicked off an automatic recording for the few laps I drove. I.e., it worked properly without any manual input. Let me know if I can help with "official" Hero6 testing, or if you need addition...

Re: Racecapture/Track versus Dual XGPS160 and Gopoint BT1A

Hey Slakker: I was at the track Friday and HLT worked with my RCP3, though inadvertently. My HLT setup is an iPhone 7+, GoPro Hero6, and a Kiwi3 OBD. Simultaneously, I've been shaking out my RCP3 with a direct CAN bus connection. In the afternoon, I wanted to use HLT to trigger the GoPro and use the...

Re: Firmware 2.11.0 for RaceCapture/Track

Tried it out over the weekend and had a similar experience: HLT would recognize the RCP3 GPS & engine data, then drop it shortly after.

Anyway to troubleshoot it? Harry, do you need someone to perform any testing?

Re: Re-linking GoPro videos

The Re-Link button is shown in the place you see a Download button in your snapshot above. It looks like you have replaced the original multicam link by a link to a remote video (starting with http://). For this link type, Re-Link is not available. Instead of analyzing what exactly has been done (I...

Re: Hero 3+ and Itunes 12.7

Buy the Apple Lightning to SD Card Camera reader. You'll need the micro-SD to SD adapter that should have come with your micro-SD card. That will transfer video files from the SD card to the Photo app. That can be accessed from Laptimer. That's really the fastest and most convenient way to transfer...

Re: Hero 3+ and Itunes 12.7

If you click the device icon in iTunes (upper left, next to the drop-down for Music, Movies, etc.), do you see "File Sharing" in the left pane?

Once you click on File Sharing, you should get a list of apps that support file sharing. Click on Lap Timer.

Re: Re-linking GoPro videos

Thanks Harry. I apologize if I have missed something obvious, but I don't have an option to re-link the video at the bottom of the screen: IMG_1171.PNG If I select the cloud download option, I get this dialog: 8037C8B2-7EC7-49FC-9B12-7BC232BB2ED2.PNG If I select the "Offline" video placeho...

Re-linking GoPro videos

I was at Road Atlanta last weekend and used a GoPro Hero 5 with a BT OBD interface with Grand Prix Edition v21.0.11 on an iPhone 7 Plus. The app recorded iPhone & GoPro video automatically, my iPhone as the PiP facing inward and the GoPro as the primary. I'm trying to create overlays of my faste...
