Small issues with v22.1

The app is feeling very very accurate and stable apart from the already reported Manual Timing and Video Preview issues. I'll stay away from those subjects until the next release. In addition to the above, I have a couple of minor quality of life problems with v22.1 since a clean reinstall of the ap...

Re: Overlaid data has a long delay in video

Not to confuse topics, but I read on another forum that the really bad shaking in my video is a result of the iPhone 7, and that if I buy an old 4S to use for HLT on track, it will fix the video shaking. I haven’t had time to look yet but they said there are a lot of discussions about that in the f...

Re: Empty lap stored after manual timing

I am also experiencing this on iOS, not just 0:00.00 values but also completely erroneous values up to minutes out. It is related to GPS signal presence/quality.

Re: iOS 12 and strange behaviour

Some good news. I am able to record video and lap times both manually triggered and automatic. The main problem is me, but there are genuine technical issues. The problem is related to the Video Preview. I always run in Video Preview mode because of the easier visibility, tappability and the iPhone ...

Re: iOS 12 and strange behaviour

I completely reset my iPhone last night, a complete erase. TLDR, I still can't trigger laps. All settings are completely default except where noted. I imported some some laps to get my car details correct. I set Storage rate to 10Hz I tried repeatedly to start timing this morning on the way to work....

Re: iOS 12 and strange behaviour

I am getting 1 second resolution with 5Hz using internal and External Dual GPS. I get 0.1 second resolution with 10Hz + Dual GPS, 1 second with Internal-

Re: iOS 12 and strange behaviour

Another observation on both my iPhone 7 and my colleagues iPhone 7+. Times are being rounded, I do not recall this ever being the case before. When manually starting timing, in the Timer view, just sitting in the office, stopping it very often (not always, but 95%) results in a time rounded to the n...

Re: iOS 12 and strange behaviour

Ah, I may have also changed the accelerometer Update rate to 30, and noise reduction to 0.3 (can't remember what default is)

Re: iOS 12 and strange behaviour

Damn I deleted my earlier reply somehow.

Allow Low Speeds is OFF.
Storage Rate is "GPS rate"

All other settings are default except the timings and Speed multiplier (1.04)
These settings are fairly well tested before iOS12
