Re: Moving laps from one phone to another
I just discovered something which was not included in Harry's How to - when you import back into Harry's on new phone, and you open or click on the export file in ES File Manager, you can NOT have Harry's open, or nothing will happen. Close Harry's LT before importing! Then the import works. Still a...

Re: Moving laps from one phone to another
Once again, every two to three years it seems, I have new phone and trying to migrate data from old phone to new one. FI am following instructions in how to (written in 2015 - so who knows if that is still accurate information) and exported data from old phone in .hlptrl format, copied to new phone,...

SD Card Storage Still an Issue
Hi Harry, I am still struggling with the inability to access videos saved to my external SD card in Android\Data\com.harrys.laptimerpro\files\movies because several years ago Android has decided that is protected storage and user's can't access with a USB connection from a PC. This makes it very cum...

Re: Can't Export Videos
Harry, its been a while. Any progress with the Android problem - not being able to access the video files after processing them via USB connection from my SD card? I am beginning to hate Android! But hate Apple more. Its a real hassle to have to remove the SD card every time I want to access a video...

Re: Can't Export Videos
Thanks Harry. that's not a good idea for me, my internal memory is pretty full with apps. I would run out of storage quickly on a typical track day. Also, another thought. One solution to this issue would be to allow the user to select the folder to save HLT recorded videos and lap files. Then we co...

Re: Can't Export Videos
Harry, any progress on being able to download video file direct (USB cable) via Android 11? This is a real hassle to have to remove the SD card every time I want to download files from HLT.
Thanks,
Doug
Thanks,
Doug

Re: Jitters using Galaxy A50 and possible solution
Harry, thanks for the explanation. What a pity! The A50 phone has excellent stabilization, but you can't access it!? Crap.
So this begs the question, which Android phone does give good video results using the builtin phone camera and HLT?

Jitters using Galaxy A50 and possible solution
Harry, I've read through all the posts related to jitters or jello effect. You seem to recommend turning off any kind of stabilization in the phone for the best video results. In fact, in my Galaxy A50, using the tool icon on the video screen, the video stabilization is fixed to off - you can't turn...

Re: Can't Export Videos
I got this back from the Google Android forum - bet you love to hear this. "You can read this Reddit post for more information on this change. Apps that comply with Android 11 shouldn't store exportable data in Android/data directory anymore, but it seems like the app in question hasn't been up...
