Moving laps from one phone to another

Why is it so complicated to get laps moved? Why can't the data just be moved with File manager from one phone to another. I have been futzing around with export and import all morning, various errors, and now most of the laps are duplicated 2 or 3 times. Grrrr. Where the hell is the data located? Wh...

Re: Track Attack

Gremlin - yes, same site which I found, but I don't see any support posts, nor posts by anyone other than Track Attack.

Thanks and keep us posted.

Re: Track Attack

@SVTDoug, I've given them the feedback, I posted on their facebook support page and they've been messaging me. I'm testing some fixes, and we're trying to work through this. Thanks. I can find the Track Attack Facebook page, but it does not seem like a "support" site. Is there another Track Attack ...

Re: Track Attack

Update: I imported a .vbo file from Harry's from The Ridge, and it imported fine into Track Attack. So as you indicated, there might be an issue with the Pacific track data...or how Track Attack is handling it. Thanks Gremlin for dealing with this!

Re: Track Attack

Hi Gremlin,

Yes, I was trying to import laps from Pacific Raceway. I can try importing from The Ridge to see if that works.

How did you find a link to contact them. Tell them they are hiding from their users! We should be discussing these matters on a Track Attack forum...

Thanks,

Cure for Jello video shake in phone camera

I am using an LG G5 phone to run Harry's Grand Prix and take video for on track HP and DE events. I have my phone mounted with the recommended RAM suction cup mount to the windshield. The issue is the video quality from the phone. I get major jello-ing affect in the video - very distorted video. I h...

Re: Track Attack

To add my experience with Track Attack - I also tried to import .VBO files into the latest TA application (v1170) and the app just stalled. No go. Even more impressive (not) is the total absence of any tech support, forum, or contact info for TA on the app, or on their website. Makes you wonder what...

Re: How to rename custom new track?

Thanks Harry. I figured out the renaming. To be more accurate for future reference (for Android), you have to go to Lap list, then press the vertical dot, dot, dot button to get the menu, then select Tracks from the menu, which gives you a list of just the track names, then long press on a track nam...

How to rename custom new track?

If after creating a new track, (did not rename it as I was creating it), I want to rename the track, how can this be done? Also, if I take a certified track and want to modify the splits, relocate and add splits, then this track is no longer certified and I can not longer see the challenges for this...

Re: HLT doesn't record acceleration data when using external GPS

I just ran a test on a neighborhood loop. Drove one lap with external GPS - XGPS160 - and no acceleration data showed up for that lap, other than a few small spikes of lateral g. Then did another lap with internal GPS only - it recorded acceleration data just fine. Yes, there is sort of a work aroun...
