I'm having a related issue. I have a Nexus 5x running Android 6 with no SIM. I would like to upload my laps after the fact via wi-fi. I go to online, pick list of drivers and try to do what you say; pick lap and hall of fame button. There doesn't seem to be a way to 'pick a lap' though. I touch once...
