Re: Connecting to RaceCapture
Thanks for the update. I recognize the CAN support in RaceCapture is manual and requires reverse-engineering a CAN stream but I've got a 370Z and there is a spreadsheet out on one of the 370Z forums showing the CAN ID's and Bytes of several metrics I'm interested in logging.

Re: Connecting to RaceCapture
Any update on this? I would love this in order to get CAN data.

Re: Can HLT be run out of sight?
I run in similar groups with similar rules. I mounted my GoPro using the adhesive mount to my windshield just beside my rearview mirror. I use the frame mount and when driving the GoPro is actually completely hidden by the mirror. I have a 350Z which is a hatchback so I mount the XGPS 160 in the rea...

Corner entry speed indicator
I'm spitballing this one. What about adding the functionality to specify a desired corner entry speed and have HLT give a notification via some sort of flash that the speed has been reached? The idea is that this is a feature for use by beginner to intermediate drivers who have difficulty consistent...

Re: Kiwi 3
Thanks for checking the log. You are right in that the OBD rate didn't go as low 1 HZ during the log interval. It seems hit or miss. I think the physical OBD connection might be a suspect. I'll check that out when I get a chance (lapping car not here this week). I'll also try your suggestion regardi...

A couple of suggestions
Here are a couple of features I would find handy... 1. OBD data collection options - would be nice to collect only PIDs for overlay screen in a single option instead of creating a long exclusion list. Maybe a couple of levels with the second including PIDs used in analysis and a full setting as it c...

Re: Can I save a custom Track
Question custom tracks, I alternate between a custom track and a track in the database. Once I load the track from the database, is the only way to re-load my custom track by opening the exported (certified) custom track in the email? Is there no way to manually add to the track list?

Re: Importing GoPro Files over WiFi
I have to always combine my video segments using the copy to PC, join files, copy to phone and re-link. This is due to the 4 GB limit of file size on the GoPro file system. I find this reliable and the lap times stay synchronized properly. I don't know whether HLT keeps timing marks of the video or ...

Re: Kiwi 3
Sounds like in issue with the car's replies. Please follow instructions in http://forum.gps-laptimer.de/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=1933 and log a section including this drops in update rate. Use trace class "OBD Sensors" only please because logs will get too big otherwise. - Harry Thanks, l...

Re: Kiwi 3
I'm having really erratic results with the Kiwi 3. I have a 2008 Nissan 350Z. The Kiwi and HLT connect just fine however the connect rate jumps all over the place. It goes from zero to 4 Hz (never any higher) and then down to 2 Hz, then 1 Hz, then nothing and then it starts bouncing again. This is r...
