Re: Why is video work so difficult??
Yes, that's what I did last year and it worked pretty well. But, I have one request, and one issue to report. Request - is there a way to automate the recording so that it starts (for example) 50 feet away from the standard start trigger? This could be the same for the "outro" with an auto...

Re: Why is video work so difficult??
Thanks, Harry...that did the trick. I'm not sure why, but sometimes in the "System ready" box (before starting a race) the Multi Cam doesn't show up...but you are right that it'll record. It worked today pretty well. I just don't get to see the PiP view in the "Preview window". A...

Why is video work so difficult??
I just bought a GoPro Hero4 Session and I'm having trouble with a couple of things. First, the Hero4 Session uses WiFi, and I find that it disconnects all the time. If I'm in the GoPro application it works, but the second I back out of the GoPro app I lose the WiFi connection. I've found that I can ...

Contour GPS as PIP for Laptimer?
Hi Harry, Is it possible to use the Contour GPS video (.mp4) and add it as a PiP to a video with Overlay created by your Laptimer within the app? It looks like Grand Prix edition supports multicam usage with a GoPro, but not the Contour. Any plans to add it in the future? In the meantime, would I ne...

I'm curious about this, too...did you ever get an answer on how to fix this?

Re: Autocross - small tracks don't fully record
Thanks, Harry...It would be great if you had a step-by-step guide for this...I'm assuming that the "Track Assistant" works for Autocross, but I've never used it.
I'll report back tomorrow after I've tried it out.

Re: Autocross - small tracks don't fully record
Thanks, Harry. Ok, I misunderstood your previous reply.
You said " I'd recommend to use a standard stop/go trigger right in the spot you pass after starting, crossing when ending 1 and start 2 and when leaving after 2."
Can you please tell me how to do that?
Thanks!

Re: Autocross - small tracks don't fully record
Using distinct Start and Stop triggers in nearby position always comes at the risk a lap just started is stopped after a short time or when coming back after lap #1. So as long as we have no triggers getting active after N passings, I'd recommend to use a standard stop/go trigger right in the spot ...

Re: Autocross - small tracks don't fully record
OK, so as a follow up...I don't think I had a direction set. If you look at the map I posted above, I started a new Autocross event and clicked "Set" for the start...walked 50 feet over to the Finish lights and clicked Set again for the finish. I actually did this twice because I backed ou...

Re: Autocross - small tracks don't fully record
Hi Harry, You may have to walk me through how to set that up. I'll attempt to attach a picture of the track we had setup over the weekend...if you notice along the right side, going past the starting point into lap #2, it parallels the Finish run and the Laptimer stops recording. And now that I look...
