Purpose of Dyno?
Harry-- I'm confused about the purpose of this app. The page on Google Play says that this app measures performance, which is a bit vague. With a name like "Dyno", I expected to get the kinds of power and torque charts one gets from a dynamometer . https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/co...

Re: Mobius camera?
Harry-- There must be some small set of common functionality among USB webcams, since I can plug any (as far as I know) USB webcam (including the Mobius) into my laptop (Linux), and any app will be able to use it. That is, I can capture photos and videos in one app ("Cheese" webcam booth o...

Re: Mobius camera?
OK, I declare this experiment a failure. I bought the Mobius camera and the special on-the-go USB cable (so that the Android device is master, and camera is slave). Has anyone tried the Mobius camera with an Android phone? http://www.buymobius.com It's pretty inexpensive--about $75. It produces H.264 video. You can get either an 86° lens or 131° (image looks a bit fish-eye). I'm thinking to run it without an SD card, in web-cam mode, connected to my Android pho...

Re: Motec Display Type Of Thing ?
Harry-- OK, good. Custom PID supports sounds like a good solution. I'm hoping I could figure those out from the Durametric software. I had assumed that you supported a wired (USB) connection. Glad you corrected my one that. I'll go with a Bluetooth adapter, probably the OBDLink MX BT. I look forward...

Re: Motec Display Type Of Thing ?
Harry-- I found an interesting article about installing a low-cost tablet dashboard in an amateur race car. https://nasaspeed.news/toolshed-engineer/tablet-dashboard/ They used this software for Android, called Shadow Dash MS from EFI Analytics (which also makes ECU tuning software called TunerStudi...
