Re: Emprum's UltiMate GPS accessory
Am I the only one who has had horrible problems with the Emprum charging connection? I have already sent one unit back under warrantee, but the replacement is doing the same thing now. Basically the charging cable loses connection unless there is backwards pressure on it. If the cable is lose and w...

Re: Emprum's UltiMate GPS accessory
I bought the $26 CableJive cable through Amazon. It still worked the last time I was at the track, no issues.

Re: Two phones at once
Ok, thanks Harry! I'll probably buy DashWare, but first I want to see how much video and data I get out of three track days this weekend to see if it's worth it to shell out $50 to put it all into a consolidated video. I appreciate the help!

Two phones at once
Harry, I looked through search and didn't see anything about my question. My inquiry may not even be for your product as much as it would be for Dashware or OBDLink, but you've always been very helpful when I've asked questions. I have two iPhones, an old 3GS that I used with your laptimer last seas...

Re: Emprum's UltiMate GPS accessory
It worked great! I was able to keep the phone in a safe place, but I attached the GPS to the top of my forks where it had a good view of the sky. And I hooked the phone charger up through the mini-USB to the bike's battery, so I didn't have to worry about the phone (it's an old 3GS) dying halfway th...

Re: Emprum's UltiMate GPS accessory
@causeceleb - I bought that CableJive extender on Amazon right after I posted, and it should arrive today. I'm heeading to the track this weekend and I'll let you know how it works out. I also bought a 30-pin passthrough with a mini-USB port, and a mini-USB plug that I can wire to my battery, so if ...

Re: Emprum's UltiMate GPS accessory
Thanks for the clarification Roger. One problem I'm having is that I've got my phone mounted on the dashboard of my motorcycle, and I've got it secured to the mount with zip ties, so if I crash there's minimal chance that the phone will go flying. The zip ties have made the UltiMate connection with ...

Re: OBD2 bluetooth and external GPS bluetooth
Which protocoll do you need. Keep in mind that Laptimer currently only works for OBD II vehicles! Even though OBDLink might support older protocols too (like KWP1281 or KWP2000) Laptimer won't still be able to work with your vehicle (correct me if im wrong Harry)! OBD II has values that are standar...

Re: OBD2 bluetooth and external GPS bluetooth
Harry, I just bought your LapTimer Pro iPhone application to use on my Triumph Daytona 675 on the track. I also bought an Emprum UltiMate GPS receiver. Now I'd like to add a wireless OBD-II scanner to keep track of engine RPMs, etc. The Kiwi Wifi won't work with the Triumph, as it does not use the V...
