Ok, I managed to figure out that something weird was happening to my edited video and I needed to use a different editor to get what HLT wanted even though both were .mp4 formats. So I got the overlay to work fine but on the wrong lap since the original lap was all messed up with "NO VID" files. See ...

Seems it just doesn't like that video for some reason. I put a different video into the phones directory and I can choose it just fine. I'll redo my video and see if it got corrupt for some reason.
