Hi Harry. Same problem today. One session got 10hx z and the second session captured at 1hz. Both show external GPS and both had the phone in airplane mode with only Bluetooth enabled.
Any ideas?

Re: XGPS160 - sometimes 1 Hz sometimes 10 Hz (v20 - iOS 9.3.1)
I checked the firmware last week and it is the current version.
Is there a way to check when staged in the pits what the GPS rate is when in video preview mode before heading out on the track?

I should add that I sometimes try putting the phone in airplane mode then switching Bluetooth on so that it's guaranteed that only the external GPS will be used. This doesn't seem to help (nor exacerbate) the problem.

Seems that's not the case with my issue. The lap analysis shows external GPS source.
Any ideas?

XGPS160 - sometimes 1 Hz sometimes 10 Hz (v20 - iOS 9.3.1)
Hi, I'm using an XGPS160 with my iPhone 6S running iOS 9.3.1 and HLT v20. I have found that my session data sometimes ends up being 1 Hz instead of 10 Hz. Nothing changes in setup -- the phone is hardwired, the GPS battery is charged. This can happen at the same track on the same day. Three out of f...

Re: "Checking databases" then crashes on iOS
Sounds good, thank you Harry.
Also, I might suggest that you put a "Date Updated" or similar text in the Known Issues FAQ -- or is there a way that the post date can be updated when you change the post?

Re: "Checking databases" then crashes on iOS
Oh, I didn't realize that FAQ applied -- I saw the Oct 2013 post date and didn't bother checking the version number in the known issue post.
How long does it normally take for Apple to complete the review and post the update?
Thanks!

Here's a screenshot. This shows for a few seconds then the app crashes.

"Checking databases" then crashes on iOS
Just spent a day at the track. Recorded fine and did some overlay exports. Was cleaning up some old lap data and now HLT won't start. I get "checking databases" and then HLT crashes. Latest version installed a couple days ago. Latest iOS on an iPhone 6S. Have reset phone a few times. Any h...

Re: Are CSV files supposed to be readable?
So, when I export the data from HLT (iPhone 6, IOS9) in CSV format and choose the email option, the files are sent with the CSV extension but are not readable -- i.e., the contents are not plain text comma separated.
When I choose the dropbox method, the files are fine (readable and importable).
