iPhone + Dual XGPS160 set up for motorcycle

IMG_4831.JPG With Harry's advice, I've mounted my iPhone and external GPS as per the attached pix. For the iPhone, I plan to upgrade to a new phone and keep this iPhone 5 as a dedicated lap timer. For the GPS unit, I drilled holes in the rubber mount and tail of the bike and secured with a zip tie....

Hi, does the App require a cellular connection, or could it be used effectively in 'airplane' mode, connecting periodically to the Internet over WiFi? I ask because I'm upgrading to a new iPhone, and I thought using my existing iPhone purely as a lap timer would be perfect, but of course I don't wan...

Hi, can you recommend a Ram mount for this device? I plan to mount it on the tail of my motorcycle and will drill a hole through the plastic to secure a firm mounting base, but I need the right mount to secure it to the XGPS itself.
