iPhone 5 vs. 5S versus 6
I've got three phones I could use for LapTimer: a 5, a 5s, and the original iPhone 6. I've read the comments on the main page that says the 5-series is the best choice because of issues regarding camera stabilization. Is that still true with the latest OS? I'm wondering if other improvements in the ...

Re: Kiwi 3
Thanks for the update. Doesn't seem like a compelling upgrade over the BT1 (which is what I have right now; I had an Automatic but found it quite unreliable).
What's the process for connecting the Kiwi to the phone if you don't manually pair them?

Re: Accessory options screen for Vbox Sport
That's interesting. I have noticed that the Vbox tends to lose coverage more often. However, my plan was to use the Vbox as a backup to Harry's Laptimer for logging, so I was hoping to also use it for the GPS.

Re: Accessory options screen for Vbox Sport
Thanks, Harry. So, there is no benefit in terms of accuracy in turning on the satellites option? Correct?

Accessory options screen for Vbox Sport
Hi, I have a Vbox Sport. If I go to Administration > Sensor List, then tap on the connected Vbox Sport, I get a dialog box that has several options, including "Satellites" and "DGPS". "Satellites" is off; "DGPS" is on. Can someone explain what these two option...

Re: Kiwi 3
Any update on this? I'm looking for a new OBD adapter and I'm wondering if I should go with the GoPoint BT1 or the new Kiwi 3. I'm on iOS, driving a Cayman 981.

Automatic OBD Gen II unreliable?
Hi, I've been using HLT for several months and I've never had a reliable experience in getting OBD data via an Automatic Gen II dongle. I'll get a green status and I'll see that engine data is being recorded but on the next session, not data is being recording and if I look at the Status screen, I s...

Re: iOS 9 Testing?
Nice thought :-) Interesting enough I got mail from Google 3 weeks ago... They had selected LapTimer for Android 6 (M, or Marshmallow) compatibility testing and found an issue. The report included a step by step description on how to reproduce the issue - so it has not been an automated process. I ...

Re: iOS 9 Testing?
I've been to two track events so far and there were a bunch of Apple employees at each, all using LapTimer. I think you might have some friends on the inside...
