Re: OBD update rate?
Another observation, since you say you never see Gear indication. Gear is displayed based on RPM, so if you are not getting any data from OBDLink you won't have RPM and hence no Gear indication Also, gear ratios need to be defined in your vehicle setup. Be sure to account for final drive ratio there...

Re: OBD update rate?
From my observation and experience: Are you waiting long enough for the OBDLink to connect and start passing data? I also use Android phone, and I find it takes about 30-45 seconds for Laptimer to fully negotiate and begin polling for data transfer from the OBDLink. My "procedure" is to st...

Re: overlay wrong orientation on export
Download Handbrake and goggle search for the rotate option. ", rotate=3" does a horizontal mirror flip. There is an option to do a vertical flip.

Re: LapTimer v23.0.9 for Android
Harry,
Is 23.0.9 still in beta - any plans to promote to full release?
Can you provide more detail on the changes for "Reworked overlay sizing and updating" ?

Re: Database "Local Copy" not working
Does the app crash when running the Local Copy? Or does it complete but not show a new User Backup? - Harry No crash. Does not complete - there is no new user backup. When I press the Local copy button, it highlights and stays highlighted, but if I scroll up or down, the highlight disappears. Lapti...

Database "Local Copy" not working
Issues: 1. The "Local Copy" function for Database Administration is not working... fails to complete and provide a "User Backup". 2. The "Check Data" also does not complete, as I understand it attempts a Local Copy prior to data checking routine. 3. The "Backup&quo...

Re: Gear position incorrect
I had a similar problem with incorrect gear being displayed until I corrected the "final drive ratio" to account for the "constant ratio" ( I can't recall where I found this). Here are the settings I use for my 2014 Cayman S with PDK (should be same for your 2015 GTS): Drive Rati...

Re: New Twist on Multiple cameras - Will it work
I have used a 'manually started' camera for a few years now... to get really good (perfect) synchronization, you need to first start you manual cams then Laptimer and its controlled cam. Drive your laps, then STOP (not cancel) Laptimer, and then stop the manual cams. I've found it is better to have ...
