Re: Add ability to adjust sensor sync when creating overlay

Is that something that might be more practical with the future mac app? I think you mentioned not being able to use hardware acceleration for the encoding, so would that mean you don't have the real-time constraint?

Add ability to adjust sensor sync when creating overlay

It's easy to find out the exact sync values needed on a computer with the video and data files in other software (eg RaceRender). It'd be great if there was a way to use Harry's to create a better video that's also in sync if the values weren't correct when recording. Using video sync was suggested ...

Adjusting sync settings when creating overlay?

My OBD data is out of sync with everything else in the overlaid video. I can't see a way to fix it. I tried adjusting 'Any OBD' in Sensor Delays under Expert Settings - this didn't appear to change the overlay feature. To test, I exported two videos, one with it set to 0.5, one with it set to 2.5; I...

Re: OSX or Windows app for overlays

Given how much a single track day costs when you include brakes etc, I'd probably be happy to spend $150-300 on it depending on the functionality offered. As well as raw functionality, a major shortcoming in every approach I've tried is getting the various data sources in sync - it's a horrible proc...

Re: 10hz GPS + GoPoint BT1A gives noisy OBD data

iPhone 6 - and I'm not recording video on it so there's no encoding contributing to the load.

10hz GPS + GoPoint BT1A gives noisy OBD data

When using the built-in GPS data, I was getting perfectly smooth OBD data in the videos. I'm now seeing rapidly fluctuating data that doesn't seem right, both in the videos and in the data files. Raw data: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/23793305/LapTimer-0079-0085-20150118-000404.hlptrl As a wo...

Re: OSX or Windows app for overlays

It'd also be neat not to be limited to the resolution that my iOS supports - 30FPS 4K would be awesome!

BT1: data being picked up by Harry's, but not in CSV

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gF32-dCwr_o Lap 54 of the weekend (in CSV file), 27th of the Day (in video) - Overlay and CSV show no OBD data for the start of this lap - However, I think Harry's was receiving OBD data - between the 4s and 9s marks, it is flashing the upshift indicator; I assume thi...

OSX or Windows app for overlays

Some other apps have a workflow I prefer: - export data log from Harry's (eg CSV over dropbox) - grab video from gopro onto my mac - combine the two in another app I prefer this flow as: - my iOS device has limited storage - my computer has much more processing power, so can do this much more quickl...
