Re: Optimal GPS and Engine Data (CAN/OBD) - for CHEAP!

Hi, maybe it´s not a problem with OBD dongle but with the phone. Since I got Samsung Galaxy S9+ I have big issues with OBD (laging for example) which I don´t have on other phones like Galaxy S6, Huawei P20 lite etc. I´ve contacted manufacturer of the OBD and they know about this issue and there is ...

Re: Optimal GPS and Engine Data (CAN/OBD) - for CHEAP!

Would like to try this but my concern would be OBD data from my E92 M3, I use GoPoint OBD dongle and the update rate isn't as good and the video overlay it is fairly clear that something is lagging behind as the throttle position doesn't match the video sound like yours does. BMW also uses a differe...

Re: GoPro Relink what am I missing?

You can Re-Link as often as required. Re-Linking is just a file selection, the sync timing information is not changed. So in case you associate the wrong video first, just return to Lap List / the lap, tap the (wrong) video thumbnail, select Re-Link and so on. Harry is there a way to get the re-lin...

Re: GoPro Relink what am I missing?

You may create a video showing how you add a video from scratch or re-link a video recorded using an action cam (using LapTimer). I will have a look into it. Usually, there is some misunderstanding in how the dialogs need to be used. Please send links to harry@gps-laptimer.de - Harry I am having a ...

MultiCam - GoPro - Long videos broken into chapters

Tried to search but couldn't find much info.

How are gopro chapters handled in HLT?
My camera breaks my session into another file once it hits 4GB.

Is there a way to link both videos to a session?

or should another setting on the gopro be used?

Re: Oil temp for GT86/FR-S/BRZ?

When I go to Sensor List > Kiwi for Sensor Information, it does show in one of the items - 0x210 0x01 EOT This seems to be a good sign, as I've played around with the Mode and PID, and other settings I don't get this in the Sensor Information. However - I'm still not getting any data for Oil Temp i...

Re: Custom PID help

This is the OBD II standard PID for engine oil temperature. If available, LapTimer pulls it automatically. No need for a custom PID in this case. See https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/OBD-II_PIDs for the list I Standard parameters. Harry The issue is we have cars that don't use the standard PID for o...
