I would love this feature as well. The Android overlay process is so slow. I would prefer to purchase a HLT Desktop companion suite that made it easy/faster to do overlays and provider a larger screen to do lap analysis. I love the app, Harry!
Thanks!

Re: LapTimer v18.3.5 High Speed CAN announcement
Harry,
Some feedback on the new feature. I turned on the High Speed CAN setting and it disabled my OBD readings while in my J1850 vehicle. When I turned the High Speed CAN setting off, the OBD data collection resumed.

Re: OBD Connection - Galaxy S4 + ELM 327
I am still waiting on the OBDLink MX WiFi, but I did try a different ELM327 and it is working. My C5 Corvette uses the J1850 PWM protocol and Harry's Lap Time is reporting 3 Hz OBD rate. Is that as good as it gets from my car?
You are creating a wonderful application !!!!

Re: OBD Connection - Galaxy S4 + ELM 327
I did have the ignition on. Maybe this module just will not work. I have an OBDLink MX WiFi on order and maybe that will operate as expected when it arrives.

Re: OBD Connection - Galaxy S4 + ELM 327
Thanks.
I have tried the first two SAE protocols listed and have found some documentation they are what my car uses, but I get the same results. Is there a timing adjustment that I should alter to give the connection an opportunity?
