I had similar problems as woody6244.
I also went through all of the steps (self-directed, I had yet to discover this thread and your directions) you have listed above. Eventually I was able to get it to display 10Hz on the GPS page, but when I then reviewed the gathered GPS/Lat/Long/etc ...
