Re: Location of Video file to conduct successful overlay
I found a workaround that is not optimal but still works. I take the GOPRO H8 created video that that uses H.264+HEVC and run the video through another 3rd party app and save as true H.264 CODEC. HLT overlay worked fine after the reformat.
Don't like H8 does not give you plain H.264

Re: Location of Video file to conduct successful overlay
I found this on gopro site "With HERO7 & HERO8 Black, you also have the option of recording the following settings using either HEVC or H.264 codecs. " If I can figure out to force H.264 codec with that work?

Location of Video file to conduct successful overlay
I used manual start on HLTv24 and pressed a GOPRO 8 simultaneously. After the event, I downloaded the MP4 file into my camera role iOS folder. Then I opened the session in HLT and linked the MP4 file. When I do realtime "PLAY" video the laptimer overlay is perfect. When I do 'Overlay"...

Re: import go pro 8 video
I just found a very useful feature. If you are a GOPRO+ user, you have unlimited cloud storage. When GOPRO uploads to the GOPRO cloud it automatically combines the video segments into one file. Then you can download it back to your camera roll. No 3rd party application, just have to be patient.

TONWON PRO VERSION
My GoPoint BT1 finally died after 5 yers of use. Looking for replacement I see for TONWON, first one on your approved accessories list. Now, I see they have a pro version now. Is pro version approved and better? Overall, do you have a #1 preferred connector for HLT? 1. TONWON Car OBD2 WiFi Scanner, ...

BlueTooth connectivity to peripherals (gopoint & Dual
Iphone 6s running IOS v12.2 and HLT 23.0.7 with gopoint BT1, and Dual XGPS360. I check general setting in IOS and the two devices are connected. When I look in HLT sensor list, they are not listed. This seems intermittent all weekend. Thoughts?

Re: MULTICAM ALTERNATIVE
I have an IPOD 5 using IOS V9.x. I used it over the years for HLT multicam. I tried using it as a 2nd device running HLT v23 linked to my Dual XGPS160 for rear facing. I set video in admin at HD. It did work, capture all lap data however no video. When I started TIMER, there was no Video to select. ...
