Right - that's what I'd expect, but touching the screen outside of the alert doesn't dismiss them (for me, at least). Specifically, it appears to dismiss them for a fraction of a second, but they return immediately.

I can press "staged" to get the accelerate prompt and accelerate to start the lap. And the lap automatically ends at the set finish, no problem. But then either the "take position" or the staging prompt returns immediately, so I'm stuck in an endless cycle of laps.
