Re: How to create a track and reference lap for a road rally

good advice, thanks, Deven. I haven't tested yet to see if 83:30.00 would import, but HH definitely caused an import problem, and 23:30.00 is just a wrong number (off by 60 minutes), so I don't see how it would actually work as a relativeToStart and lapTime value. good thought on testing with a smal...

Re: How to create a track and reference lap for a road rally

when creating the XML for a test, where the elapsed time is greater than 60 minutes, I noticed that the import will fail if elapsed time for 83.5 minutes appears in the XML as 01:23:30.00 (I changed the default time formatting to achieve this). Because of the default time formatting in the spreadshe...

Re: How to create a track and reference lap for a road rally

The settings I left in the Filter sheet were for a different track. Change Filters.A5 to 215. Deven Thanks, Deven, that correctly includes the Finish Line. A different strange behavior is also occurring with the filter. English sheet and Filter sheet. The filter is defined to include Acceleration n...

Re: How to create a track and reference lap for a road rally

Using the .ods in OpenOffice Calc to be on the safe side. The new filter tool -- using the named range TrackFilter to define the filter criteria (Filter tab A2:S10) -- is behaving strangely. It includes rows that have Acceleration = 0, and omits rows that have Acceleration > 0. I am using the filter...

Re: How to create a track and reference lap for a road rally

fwiw, opened the new xls in Excel 2007. Column L on the English sheet rounds down to the minute. This rounded-down elapsed time then flows through to the relativeToStart on the Lap sheet.

Re: How to create a track and reference lap for a road rally

Deven: Column J on the Lap tab is formatting for elapsed time is MM:SS.SS This is giving results such as this: 42:57.57 42:59.59 43.12.12 Should it be MM:SS.00 and read as the below? 42:57.37 42:59.08 43:12.00 Also, when running the race, what view are you using? Lastly, If you look at column AK on ...

Re: How to create a track and reference lap for a road rally

Also, what are you getting as a total distance. Seems like I am getting nearly a tenth of a mile over 90 miles and depending on your average speed, that can throw you off by seconds. Boy, I am overwhelmed now. Certainly not your fault, its mine. So much time has gone by between working on this, I've...

Re: How to create a track and reference lap for a road rally

Devin: I am almost there, but I don't know how to convert my spreadsheet to XML. And I think you already said that the data going to HTL needs to be in metrics, correct? Also, looking at your script, the times are all rounded. My times are down to the hundredth of a second. I just think I am missing...
