Re: Timer Screen Guidance
Ok that makes more sense. A green street is good because I'm "gaining" regardless of total lap time. You can be ahead by 10 seconds but if the street is red that 10 second gap is reducing. I understand what you mean by using it as a training tool. I still think it would be helpful for a vi...

Re: Timer Screen Guidance
Could you please provide a definition for "winning" and "losing"?
What might be helpful is to provide the different states that the Sector Gap street can be in with screen shots. Or perhaps walk through the use-case flows that went into designing the Sector Gap street widget.

Re: Timer Screen Guidance
I was playing with it this morning again and I think I understand the actual street green/red indicator. By "winning" or "losing" I think you mean, at this GPS location vs. the reference lap are you traveling faster or slower. Meaning are you gaining time or losing time. Is that ...

Re: Timer Screen Guidance
Just so I fully understand the Sector Gap feature (the "street") here let me try to summarize its function: The Sector Gap street itself is meant to show you the total lap time ahead/behind the reference lap, green or red respectively. The 2 triangles beside the street that move above or b...

Timer Screen Guidance
Please see the screenshot of the Timer screen where I numbered a few items, I was hoping I could get a definition or explanation of the intended usage of these features. I'm sorry for all the questions, I've actually been using HLT for years but I've only recently looked closer and see the wealth of...

Re: iPhone 4 iOS7, BTstack, Qstarz 818xt refresh rate
Update: Installed Qstarz GPS testing software. The 818xt has a 3 position toggle where the positions are labeled 10Hz, 1Hz and Off. In the software I set both the 10Hz and 1Hz positions to be 10Hz, just in case it was getting confused when turning on. I then tested with BTstack/HLT from the satellit...

iPhone 4 iOS7, BTstack, Qstarz 818xt refresh rate
I have an iPhone 4 on iOS7.0.4 jailbroken (obviously). I have purchased and installed BTstack and have successfully connected the Qstarz 818xt. I've deleted all the old HLT data and reinstalled the PetrolHead version of HLT fresh. I'm experiencing an inconsistent GPS refresh rate. Usually I will rec...

Re: Video recording more than one lap
Hi Harry, I just wanted to chime in to say that this proposed feature of continuous recording is exactly what I'm looking for. I can't wait for this to be implemented in v15. FYI, Smartycam (when coupled with an AIM MXL) has this continuous recording feature. It turns on when you start driving over ...
