Re: Couldn't attach file for exports

Oh, haha. I understood that as "read only". =P

So still no possibility of accessing that file without rooting the device or saving the attachment somewhere else?

Re: Couldn't attach file for exports

Hmm, that's unfortunate with Android 10. I was looking in the Lap Timer folder in the "Android" folder, but didn't see a "cache" sub folder. I'm not sure if it's hidden or something?

Read-only might be fine if all I'm trying to do is read the data for Race Render.

Re: Couldn't attach file for exports

Oh I see. Thanks for the quick response. No wonder I didn't experience this when I exported all the files from my old phones (Moto X4) to the new one.

Share also doesn't work. The attachment files always have errors.

Couldn't attach file for exports

Hi everyone! I recently tried to export a session at the track (CSV) for use in RaceRender3, but every time I try to Mail (gmail app), share (onedrive, Google Drive), it always says "Couldn't attach file" when the email is formed. I tried sending the email and I have all the text info about the file...

Re: Backup File too big (240MB) - How to backup?

Ahh I see. Thanks for troubleshooting this for me! Yeah, export/share is fine for me for now. Was just wondering what I was doing wrong. :P

I'll have to turn that warning off again then, thanks!

Re: Backup File too big (240MB) - How to backup?

Ok, I'm looking at my app right now, under Administration->Databases. I see a "User Backup" (that I chose "Local Copy" to do) that is 242 MB (918 laps) I see a "System Backup" (that got created when I clicked "Check Data") and then I clicked "Backup" and see the popup "This function will generate an...

Re: Backup File too big (240MB) - How to backup?

I can export it without issues in the lap list menu using "export" and choosing "share" to Google Drive. My main question is the "regular backup" prompt that I always get ("You haven't backed up in a while..." something like that), and whenever I let it back up, it would say the file is too big and ...

Re: Backup File too big (240MB) - How to backup?

Thanks Harry.

Unfortunately, it won't attach because it says the file is too big to be attached (Gmail only allows 20 or 25MB attachments), so I don't know what sort of file it is.

Backup File too big (240MB) - How to backup?

Hi, I was able to transfer my files from one phone to another by using the export button in the lap list of the app (Android), but for regular backups, the file is 240+ MB and email just wouldn't work. I exported a "local copy" on my phone but can't find the file to manually copy it somewhere to bac...
