Re: LapTimer v24
Can I use the new Hero8 setting for a Hero9? I am trying it and it seems to kind of work but not 100%.

GoPro Hero9 supported?
I can get my new Hero9 to connect using the Hero8 option, but it seems to behave a little oddly. During preview, the GoPro kept recording and seems to start recording randomly.
I realize the Hero9 may not be officially supported yet, but is there any option for getting it to work?

Re: LapTimer Failing to Connect to GoPro and Start Recording
Good call, I also found this other thread which suggests this may be the issue I encountered yesterday at Laguna Seca -- that the wifi goes to sleep even though it says it's still active.

Re: LapTimer Failing to Connect to GoPro and Start Recording
Curious if you ever solved this? I too have a Hero 4 (Black) and have a lot of trouble getting Harry's Lap Timer to connect / recognize it even though I am connected via wifi.
My setup is that I am using:
Pixel 3 phone
XGPS 150 external GPS (bluetooth)
OBDLinkMX OBDII reader (bluetooh)

Feature request: Movie style "clap board" to sync data
Sorry if this has been requested before. I'm syncing my Harry's data to my GoPro video in post-production using RaceRender. What would be great to have is some sort of visual & data signal to serve as a "clapboard" like they use in movies where they'd normally sync up separately record...

Hmm, I'm using the same OBDLink MX but not having any issues with the HLT rookie edition for what it's worth.

Re: For android finding the files to make a movie
I found it easier to just select a lap on the phone, and then upload to dropbox all within Harry's app.

Re: external gps vs odb2
Your lap times will be more accurate with the external GPS too. The internal GPS sensor in most phones is only 1 hz, meaning it gets one reading per second. (The external GPS is 5 hz, or 5 readings per second.) In that situation, your laptimes could all be plus or minus 1 second. So if you think you...

No g-force data on Android
Hi folks - Anyone else having an issue of not getting any g-force data on the Android version? My setup is: Moto X XGPS 5.0 ghz OBDLink MX In my data files, the g-force data is very intermittent. Every once in awhile there is some data, but not consistently. Have I done something wrong during the se...

Re: Problem: Using Bluetooth OBDII AND Bluetooth XGPS on Dro
Hi Harry - Just wanted to follow up on this. I got the OBDLink MX and tried it the other day at a trackday. During the first session, I still at one point had the gauges drop to zero, but then it never did it again all day and everything was fine. So I still am not 100% sure what is caused it but ho...
