Harry, just picked up an iPhone (v4.2.8) and your app was the first installed...looks fantastic. My 17minute test video was not able to overlay (ran for 3 hours) so I had to restart the phone. Tried to do a second test and after 2 minutes I stopped recording and got the "passed" error mess...

In case you are still looking for a solution, Tom Tom now has included an adapter for the iPhone4.
