[MOVED TO Using LapTimer]

I used the video feature for the first time this weekend and was happy with everything I saw on my phone but when I transferred the video to my computer there was no longer the data overlay and the video is now gone from the video list. Iphone 5 GPS Suite

I am wanting to use my laptimer to keep track of a hare scrambles course. A dirt bike race through the woods in which we do about three laps around a ten or eleven mile course laid out with arrows pointing the proper direction. How do I get the laptimer to recognize the course?

Sorry if I am missing this but I can't seem to find the answer.
I often race the same tracks and don't have wifi at the course. Is there a way to save the track to my device so I don't have to download it each time?
