Make sure you have the XGPS paired with your iPhone and BT on. Furthermore, please do not turn off accessories in Expert Settings (just to be complete, you have likely not changed that). I can confirm Harry's explanation directly from my own experience. I used Harry's Lap Timer on iPhone6 with its internal GPS senzor of 1Hz several times on track.
