Re: [FAQ] Debugging OBD Communication
Thanks Harry I will give this a try. I have a post in the problem cars post with my 2006 BMW 330xi and gopoint BT1. Maybe this will help us. I did notice that when using the gopoint tools it was picking up many more PID info than HLT. So there has to be a secret somewhere to make this work. Have you...

Re: Housekeeping Videos
If I move videos from the laptimer sandbox to the camera roll then move to my pc is there a way to put them back if I wanted to do more overlays? I can get them back to the camera roll but can't figure out if there is a way to get them back into the laptimer storage so they show up in lap lists. I c...

Re: First Article in a Series for my BMW CCA Chapter Newslet
DJ McArdle is the one that told me the rule change. This is for Northeast. I would say we keep focusing on the other aspects of HLT and not the timing for now... I will bring this to my chapter and see what they think. I just wanted to get your permission first. Thanks! BTW I just submitted a new tr...

Re: Share your video !
...In the first attempt I learned that the finish trigger did not stop the GoPro? (closing the video on HLT works though) Then I had to charge GoPro batteries and unplugging the TomTom kit may have killed the external GPS? (or else I needed to reset/calibrate it) Now because of my fumbling with the...

Re: Share your video !
Here is my first. Warning large file 200Mb! I was recording at 12mp, dropping it to 7mp for next time. The Throttle shows but one of the PIDs I had to exclude prevented recording. Pesky BMW and OBD.

Re: First Article in a Series for my BMW CCA Chapter Newslet
I was just informed that resent rule changes in BMW CCA Northeast allows timing. I think this is only for personal data acquisition and nothing can be displayed real time to the driver.

Re: First Article in a Series for my BMW CCA Chapter Newslet
karacticus I joined the BMW CCA Patroon chapter back in Feb. I have been to three track events so far and am signed up for two more, and looking to sign up for more. I got HLT working with multicam and been showing some of the people in the club. You right about the anti timing stance with BMW CCA e...
