AutoX function - video starts after launch

Harry, So I'm at the starting position. The starter hits the ready to go button on my iphone and gives me the indication that I can charge through the course. For some reason, Lap Timer isn't starting the recording until a few moments later, basically after I've passed through the first obstacle on ...

Re: Trouble Connecting to XGPS receiver

I'm an idiot. I had the switch in the wrong position...

Was able to configure it w/my iPhone somehow, but when I launched the Dual bluetooth GPS utility, it didn't recognize it either, so I knew something was wrong.

Trouble Connecting to XGPS receiver

I'm trying to connect my iphone 4 to my new xgps 150a device. My iphone is paired to the XGPS, but when I try to connect to it in HLT, it doesn't show up in the sensors list. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

Re: Share your video !

Here is a compilation from the autocross from two weekends ago. [youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3CYRMGFcbYQ[/youtube] I used Laptimer Petrolhead on my iphone 4 w/the built in GPS receiver. Dual XGPS150A is on it's way. I mounted it up using a hitcase pro ( http://www.hitcase.com/hitcase-pro ...

Re: [FAQ] Adjusting Calibration 'after the fact'

Yes, the Dual will give you much better values here. On recalibration: usually LapTimer keeps a calibration achieved. There are certain situations however, things are reset. LapTimer runs a sanity check calibration is fine from time to time. If e.g. LapTimer detects zero speed, but a high accelerat...

Re: [FAQ] Adjusting Calibration 'after the fact'

Autocross is difficult in this respect as it has rapid direction changes actually requiring a much higher recording rate than 1 Hz. So in case you are serious about acceleration, a higher rate GPS is recommended. Will the Dual XGPS 150 Bluetooth GPS Tranciever work good for AX? My plan was to use t...

Re: [FAQ] Adjusting Calibration 'after the fact'

I used laptimer for the first time this past weekend's autocross. Working on compiling my videos so I can share with my codriver. I have a couple runs where it looks like the accelerometer was calibrated correctly and some where it looks all wrong. Here's a good one: http://i.imgur.com/USrv4an.png h...
