Re: Dyno's start speed does not allow values between 0 and 30 kph

The 30 kph threshold is probably a bit conservative, but it is about issues with measuring low speeds using GPS. What you can do is setting a zero to ... range and record like this. Now, goto the Recordings ‣ your recording ‣ Data Analysis ‣ Preview ‣ Charts. Tap the screen in two spots, e.g. near 1...

Re: Database stalls when converting - help

In case LapTimer doesn't come up because it can't repair a data corruption, it is possible to start it in emergency startup. This will move the current database to a backup and reinstall the sample database again. This at least allows you to continue using LapTimer and restore the stall data later. ...

Re: Possible to Download Multiple Tracks at Once?

You can load multiple track sets at once, but only in case they do not overlap. The later means you can't load multiple configuration track sets for one track - they always overlap. In case you have no Internet access on site, there is a possible workaround: For each configuration you want to have w...

Re: Tonwon OBD - WiFi or BTLE?

It should have a CAN bus - which means LapTimer v22 will apply a number of tweaks to get very fast update rates. I cannot give guaranties, but it should be in the 10 Hz range. Use the ECU filter described in "Addressing Specific ECUs (v22)" http://www.gps-laptimer.com/LapTimerDocumentation...

Re: Steering Angle PID

Hi, Please start with reading section "Custom PIDs (v22)" in http://www.gps-laptimer.com/LapTimerDocumentation%20-%20Engine%20Data%20and%20Developer%20Program.pdf Enter your data and see what happens. Chances are good, it will not work in the first run - even when entering everything as de...

Re: Tonwon OBD - WiFi or BTLE?

Hi, The WiFi option is faster. I do not recommend it nevertheless for two reasons: 1) handling WiFi on track is very cumbersome and limits access to action cams 2) with LapTimer v22's optimizations, you will get 10 Hz (roughly 40 PIDs/s) or more for CAN cars - which is good enough. Non CAN cars will...

Re: No speed data, start finish line not registering

Please reload the track set to make sure you have information on s/f etc available. In case LapTimer still doesn't split data into laps, export the file to .hlptrl and send it to Harry@gps-laptimer.de. Please add information on the track set used to the mail.

Re: Preview with very low FPS - unusable

Next version will come with extended information in Contact mails - all settings changed will be listed.
When using the realtime preview on my X, everything is smooth... For me this looks like some type of device specific overload.
I do not have an idea currently.
