Re: Video and sound doesnt sync

Yes, looks like a problem with the S8 video recording engine. I have found some issues with S8 audio recording on the net, although they were not precisely the same as reported here. What you can do is report your issue to Samsung. This will raise their priority to stabilize recording for an upcomin...

Re: Android: app stuck at less than 10% overlay

Probably some issue with the video encoding. Please try switching to Software based video encoding in LapTimer's Expert Setting.

Re: Re-linking GoPro videos

I assume you selected a remote video (from Video List / HERO Section) when doing a Re-Link. A Re-Link should always go to a local video, the HERO section should actually be hidden for Re-Links. Synchronizing is never required when remote controlling a HERO through LapTimer. What actually is required...

Re: Can I use a track with alternate configuration

You can use the existing track. The disadvantage is that laps from two different configurations are mixed and things like reference lap comparison / predictive lap timing will not work any more. So the better option is to add another configuration. Please drop us a note to Tracks@gps-laptimer.de and...

Re: hlptrl coordiantes tag

The later is the GPS position for the red/yellow/green display of lateral acceleration. You can ignore it or set it to the same value as the "real" position.

Re: Multiple Tracks for Stage Rally

Yes, each stage would be a separate track. Tracks defined (using an assistant or creating it step by step) will show up as sections in Lap List. It will not be possible to use the AX assistant, as the the time between start and finish will take too long. So I'd recommend you use the technics describ...

Re: Reinstall after purchase long ago - HOW

As long as you do not change platform (Apple / Google), and keep your store ID, you can reload an app any time. For iOS, goto AppStore ‣ Updates ‣ Purchases ‣ LapTimer. For Android, goto PlayStore ‣ My apps & games ‣ LapTimer.

Re: Bad Elf GPS Pro Issues

As written before, LapTimer doesn't use the internal GPS while an external sensor is connected. So usually, there is no advantage to disable it. However, while the BadElf is connected, it will be hooked into iOS's location service (Mfi). This means if any app is using GPS, the Bad Elf will need to d...
