Re: OBD Tonwon 4.0

Assuming your Golf has a CAN bus, the update rate is too low. For non CAN cars, this is the expected rate. Test with running engine please. There is no further configuration required. As the upcoming LapTimer v22 will come with a completely revised OBD integration, I do not want to go into full trou...

Too small, I can't see what it shows. ;-)

Re: "Mode" like the Torque app?

Certainly :-) All the views in Analysis ‣ Realtime display data independent from track / no track operation. In case you want to record arbitrary sections, please enable "Manual Timing" in LapTimer's Settings. It will add Start / Stop buttons to all Timer views.

Re: deleted lap, lost video

LapTimer asks the user when the last lap linking a video is removed whether the video should be deleted too.
So there has been a least one confirmation dialog before the video has been deleted.
I'm sorry, but there is no way to undelete a video removed like this.

Re: Dyno dash

This view comes in two versions - depending on whether an OBD adapter is connected or not.
LapTimer calculates power from various engine parameters, so this power gauge is visible for OBD only.

Re: Vbox SPORT & LapTimer Grand Prix

It should work fine.

Just in case you run into an issue during your track day, unpair VBOX and X and operate the VBOX Sport in logging mode. Use LapTimer with internal sensor in parallel. You will be able to import the VBO file logged later and get better data.

Re: error code 10 on samsung s7

Probably an issue with the reference lap's video getting added as picture in picture. Please try turning the reference video off in Overlay Configuration.

Re: video overlay

Probably an issue with the timestamps stored in the video file. Are you using an Android phone?

Re: Lost all GPS data - except 2 laps

The backups shown in Databases are all you can try. In case you cannot restore any of the backups, you can send a raw database. Due to v22 development, I need some extended time to run this manual repair.

Re: Start / Stop video recording

LapTimer uses WiFi to control action cams. This does not allow the connection of two cams currently. But you can record footage manually with a second cam and add footage to laps recorded. In case the cam does not react to Cancel or Stop, it has disconnected during the lap. Please stop it manually. ...
