Re: Bluetooth Internal TPMS Sensors

Hello, LapTimer will detect VC601 sensors automatically. VC601 do not really connect but instead send a broadcast to anyone around listening. As they broadcast their status infrequently, it may take some minutes until you get all four displayed. Make sure BT is enabled in general and BT LE is enable...

Re: No video record

Something changed between first and other sessions... Either changed GPS accuracy or a problem with the track set. Please see http://forum.gps-laptimer.de/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=2 for details. The most importing thing is to watch the Health Status displayed. LapTimer tries to detect situation some...

Re: Anneau du Rhin

Please goto Administration ‣ Add-ons. Enter "Anneau" into the search bar. Select the configuration one by one to see a description of the track configuration. I have never been there, but the first one seems to be the 3km and the second from the end a revised 3.7km configuration.

Re: Garmin GLO

Yes, this is what I measured for the first Glo version too. Maybe someone can share information on the current Glo 2 version.
The internal GPS always delivers 1 Hz. 2 Hz can show up shortly due to runtime effects, but this will be very rare and isn't what is actually delivered.

Re: Compare Laps

Please use the Reference Lap concept. One lap is always the reference - either the best, the last or one you choose yourself. Sample for default mode ("best"): you have a lap list for a certain track with 1:49.53 1:48.01 1:48.10 The 1:48.01 will be the reference lap with "best" s...

Re: Complete Car list not available

Hello, That's a convenience function to fill in vehicle details. We have still not QA'ed all the submissions we have received but plan to have that done this Winter. Till then, please just fill in the 6 search fields and press "New". This will create a vehicle you can use. The details are ...

Hello,

Please download "Harry's GPS/OBD Buddy". It uses the same sensor framework like LapTimer and can be downloaded for free.

Re: Petrolhead Speedo Layouts

No customization here. Speedo is portrait only in addition. For on track use, Timer is the dedicated view. But agreed, current as well as last min / max speeds are a lot smaller here.

Re: How to use Dyno?

Please install the free Harry's GPS/OBD Buddy on your iPhone. Check the rate using it. Dyno will come with precisely the same rate.

Functionally Dyno is mostly the same on Android and iOS. The iOS version comes with a few gimmicks on top - like dark and bright modes.

Re: Jitters using Galaxy A50 and possible solution

Hello, This seems to be a proprietary Samsung extension. Due to the number of phones available for Android, LapTimer almost always uses device independent interfaces. As a example, LapTimer asks the phone whether (standard) software stabilization is available. In case it is, it allows the user to tu...
