Re: Upgraded to GP, now I can't encode anything

The only difference for your upgraded LapTimer is that is will include picture in picture videos. This is relevant in case you have more than one video associated with the lap overlaid, or if the reference lap has a video (which will be added for comparison). Try what happens if you disable the refe...

Re: Timer is ending when car is stopped temporarily at stop light?

Hi, had a similar issue about two years ago. Then it was fixed during a new release. Now it reappears. Lap always stops after 3:02, even when moving. Could not find a parameter for this in the expert settings. Using Iphone 6+. Any idea how to fix this? Thanks I assume there is an issue with OBD or ...

Re: Which GPS for the Go Pro Session?

Hi, This will be too complex. You can't control 2 action cams anyway... I'd recommend to operate the Sessions manually and connect LapTimer to a XGPS160. The procedure to add footage recorded to LapTimer laps recorded is described in Video Documentation (http://www.gps-laptimer.de/documentation). - ...

Re: Laptimer with Go Pro Hero 6

I do not have any experience with the Hero6 but can say that video stabilization has not been necessary since the Hero2. The problem with stabilization is that cams are optimized for a certain recording scenario. For smartphones and action cams this is the situation you hold the cam in you (shaking)...

Re: Track times of other users does not show anymore

The server is up again now.

The reason for a missing Hall of Fame is either a problem with local Internet connections or a server outage on our side.

Re: Using for Off Road Dirt Bike Racing?

In old times, logging while driving and analyzing data back at home has been the only option. LapTimer is prepared to support this scenario too, logging formats supported for import "after the fact" are .NMEA, .GPX, and .VBO

Re: Using Google Earth with HLT KML

Hi, The mobile versions do not have this feature included. For Android, I had to remove a channel (I do not recall which one, probably acceleration / deceleration) completely because the app crashed otherwise. I hope Google will add this feature at some time - I do not want to add another dialog to ...

Re: Which external GPS for android phones?

The VBOX's accuracy and validity of speed measured(!) will be a lot better that the Dual provided you are using an external antenna. Drop outs can be more frequent as the limitation to GPS sats only means the VBOX can utilize roughly only half of the satellites available for the Dual device. LapTime...

Re: Exporting A Session with All Lap Data

No, what I'm saying is you need to look into the right file. ;-) Check LapTimerGPSRecDB.csv instead of LapTimerDB.csv. The later is an extra you get for multi-lap exports.

Re: Exporting A Session with All Lap Data

When exporting to CSV, LapTimer generates one or two files depending on the number of laps included:

1 lap: LapTimerGPSRecDB.csv
multiple laps: LapTimerDB.csv and LapTimerGPSRecDB.csv

LapTimerDB.csv (if exported) has a list of laps, while LapTimerGPSRecDB.csv always has the full details.
