Re: Correct?

To edit altitude, you can export a recording to .HLPTRZ, rename it to .HLPTRL.GZ, unzip it, and edit the resulting .HLPTRL file. .HLPTRL files can be imported into Dyno by sending it by mail as an attachment. Touch the .HLPTRL in Gmail / Apple mail and Dyno will import it. This however will not adju...

Re: Correct?

LapTimer user will not confirm there are lots of video tutorial. ;-) There are never enough. The reason there is more documentation is that track recording are far more complicated to handle. On your question: Not sure what kind of editing you want to apply? For both LapTimer and Dyno we try to make...

I never thought that I´ll say it but "golden GoPro3" I never had problems like this on it :/
Indeed, it had no Bluetooth. Instead it had separate WiFi and cam modules (in one case). The WiFi could be power on while the cam could be turned on and off to not use battery.

Re: GoPro Hero 7 Compatibility

Yes, that's what I name "GoPro Over-Engineering". They use BT to sleep and wake up the cam's WiFi to safe battery. The odd thing for the user is, that WiFi may drop without notice in case the app is not talking to the cam. It will still show WiFi is active, but actually isn't. That's the reason I re...

Re: GoPro Hero 7 Compatibility

This is most probably around the issues we face with all action cam connections - i.e. not HERO 7 specific. Please see Video Documentation on www.gps-laptimer.de/documentation for a step by step description. The most frequent issues are about keeping the WiFi connection between smartphone and action...

Re: Kiwi3 OBD dropping data during recording?

I know that reinstalling software is popular since MS Windows has been introduced. For LapTimer it simply means all settings the user has changed are reverted to default settings, and any laps recorded and not backuped externally are lost.

Re: OBD RPM Display gauge

Yes, I’d suggest to remove duplicates currently. Duplicates are fine and have unique names, but can be difficult to identify. After removing the duplicate, please make sure the vehicle stored for the lap is still set. In case the duplicate has been referenced by the lap, it will be redirected to the...

Re: OBD RPM Display gauge

I doubt reinstalling the app makes any sense. I assume this is some handling or data issue. There is no reason this should not work for one in thousands. However, I have no idea how to rephrase instructions posted already.

Re: Display lay out

No. When passing s/f, LapTimer will display the lap time just recorded before it switches to the current lap time again. To keep this last lap time for a longer time, please change Timing ‣ Display Time in LapTimer's Expert Settings.

Re: OBD RPM Display gauge

O.k., I have imported the car and the lap and get a proper rpm gauge display after adding an arbitrary video. The lap you had sent had been exported to an overlaid video already. As these exported videos have gauges added and are not reevaluated when playing them, please revert to the Original video...
