Re: Bug report: External cam control and video export

Understood. The share option in LapTimer assumes the receiving side is YouTube. It sets a title and attaches a file. This information is interpreted wrongly by Google Drive - which actually should not show up as a proper app handling the sharing. I will check if I can find information on the paramet...

Re: Bug report: External cam control and video export

The problem external cams are not triggered when selection "external cam only" in Video Operations is a known issue to be fixed. Not sure I understand the second item correctly, but whenever a video is renamed and cannot be resolved any more, you can use the Re-Link function to make the li...

Re: Merging GOPro Videos in a single run session

This means LapTimer does not allow to overlay all laps associated with the video but a subset only. Reasons for this can be a lap deleted from the middle of a session, or a time gap between two consecutive laps. Usually, you can ignore this warning. Sample: laps 1,2,3,4 are recognized as one session...

Re: VIR full finish line incorrect

Thanks, we probably need to add a new configuration (after changing a start/stop trigger, laps cannot be compared directly). Monika will come back on this.

Re: How to enable Multicam with multiple iPhones?

Hi, Please check http://forum.gps-laptimer.de/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=1693 for the current status of MultiCam app. As long as the app is pulled from the store, MultiCam is a synonym for controlling an action cam on top of the internal cam, but not further iPhones. Btw, MultiCam is a GrandPrix featu...

Re: Harrys Lap Timer on Laptop

Hi, OBDWiz might be a reasonable software to read engine data, but it is not what you need to work open track data recordings. The solution available currently is Racelogic's Circuit Tools 2. Export data from LapTimer to .VBO and CT will allow you to analyze your data. The BlackVues are not supporte...

Re: Firmware 2.11.0 for RaceCapture/Track

No, please keep these channels. LapTimer derives them from satellites count for compatibility reasons otherwise, but it is a rough guess only. Removing the channels does not add benefit either.

Re: Firmware 2.11.0 for RaceCapture/Track

I have just check the direction issue based on gplracerx's input. It is broken due to the circular characteristic of degrees (0-360°). Some math to do here. As LapTimer's trigger detection uses the direction to verify before / after conditions (compared to start / finish line), this may lead to miss...

Re: XGPS160 issues

Please check Known Issues for access to a Dual beta firmware which probably addresses the connection issues discussed.
