Re: Invalid Master Video Error

Good idea. Please post a sequence of snapshots showing the problem. That's a lot easier. I'd suggest to not work with filenames including spaces and special characters by the way. LapTimer does not use them neither do action cams. It may work, but it is not tested.

Re: GoPro Relink what am I missing?

Personally, I prefer aligning the last complete lap of a session. In case you have the cool down lap included in your recordings, you can align this lap to the videos‘s end too. Don‘t try to align the precise sync using the frame shown. Select the position matching the lap‘a end roughly and agree to...

Re: Invalid Master Video Error

Hi,

I just answered a similar question: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=4641&p=23514#p23514
Please let me know if that helps. Rereading your first post above, I think you are not in the Re-Link but the Add Video scenario.

Re: No Speed Data Shown on Overlay

You need to make sure LapTimer has a free view to the sky. Missing recording data usually means there is a GPS issue.

Re: GoPro Relink what am I missing?

In case LapTimer controlled the video recording, you will see a video placeholder in each lap's details view. In this situation, select the placeholder, press Re-Link, and select the video transferred to the phone. In this case, a detailed sync is not necessary. In case LapTimer has not controlled t...

Re: Unable to restore data from backup

The approach I use and which works: send the backup to your new phone by mail and open the mail in Gmail. Touch the attachment to open it. Not all apps handle file opening in a consistent and reliable way. That's a difficult topic in Android.

Re: On road use (i.e. non-track)

Two options (same for iOS and Android):

Race ‣ Timer ‣ Video ‣ enable internal cam ‣ Preview ‣ small red button
or

Administration ‣ Settings ‣ Manual Timing ‣ ON (one time action)
Race ‣ Timer ‣ Video ‣ enable internal cam ‣ close ‣ Start

Re: App won't open in ios10.3.1

Hi again, I have checked for crash logs from an iPhone5S running 11.1.1. The only one I have received shows a database issue generating a crash. In case you ran a fresh install, this should not happen. In case you have 6.7GB of data for LapTimer, it looks like there *is* data and the app has not bee...

Re: Is there a way to use HLT with the Apex Pro?

I'm not familiar with the Apex Pro. Not sure I understand how you use it with LapTimer and create a GPS conflict? The Apex Pro seems to have it's own internal GPS, so I doubt it will access the one built into the smartphone. Furthermore, multiple apps can subscribe to location services at a time. It...

Re: Setting up Custom BTLE Adapter

The BT LE base id is

Code: Select all

00000000-0000-1000-8000-00805F9B34FB

Setting positions 4 to 8 to the 16 bit UUID FFE1 makes it

Code: Select all

0000FFE1-0000-1000-8000-00805F9B34FB
