Re: Status of HERO5 support

Actually I had planned to integrate GoPro's SDK into LapTimer for v22 to support all late HERO cams. Oddly, they have just shut down the developer program - so I need to see if adding Session 5 and HERO 6 support is possible. Please watch upcoming v22 announcements.

Re: How to Display the Traction Circle Plot

The G-G diagram is available here: LapTimer ‣ Lap List ‣ any lap ‣ Data Recordings / Preview ‣ Charts ‣ 2nd page The diagram shown in the bottom allows you to select a certain range: tap 2 positions (from / to) and the chart will show the G-G development for this section. The 3rd and 4th pages give ...

Re: Can i try before i buy?

I'm sorry, that has been misleading. Once distance based recording (like 0-400) is supported, Dyno will be the right choice. For now, you need to set triggers at the start and finish line - which is a LapTimer only feature.

Re: Can i try before i buy?

Hi, LapTimer requires you to set start and stop triggers currently. I plan to have an automatic setup (like for speeds) sometime, but I'm not sure it will be for the upcoming v22 release (Spring 2018). For Android, you can pass back any app purchased within 2 hours. This will be good enough to check...

Re: OBD Solution for BMW E36 328i (1998/99)

Hi, It doesn't look like the Autocom device supports the ELM327 protocol. This means it needs an integration into LapTimer using our Developer Program. To accomplish this, two things are required: ⋅ You need to get your hands on Autocom's protocol used to retrieve real time data. I do not ...

Re: OBD Solution for BMW E36 328i (1998/99)

The above link is outdated and doesn't work any more. Any integration of non-OBD II adapters or adapters not listed on LapTimer's compatibility pages needs to be integrated using our Developer Program. You can read about both the OBD II approach supported, wired solutions (like the above OBD2 4U), a...

In case you see data in the G-G before running the Recalculate, there is data recorded. So where is this data missing for you?

Re: direct transfer videos from Hero 5 to HLT

This doesn't work reliable once videos are bigger (full session videos for example). The downloads from HERO cams are pretty unstable - which is the reason it is disabled for HERO3 cams by default. Cam integration for HERO cams will be reworked for v22 (Spring 2018), it is possible GoPro's own libra...
