Re: voyomotive

No, it looks like another proprietary device working with the manufacturer's app only.

See www.gps-laptimer.de/compatibility/ios or www.gps-laptimer.de/compatibility/android for supported adapters.

Re: Actionpro X8

This cam is not supported for remote controlling. Every cam type comes with some proprietary interface - impossible to add support for all. Supported cams are shown on LapTimer's compatibility / accessory pages (http://www.gps-laptimer.de). Currently, GoPro, Sony, and Garmin cams are supported. For ...

Re: Laps not recorded

No, this will be some coincidence with a different problem. LapTimer production versions are regression tested without video before being released. It is possible detection doesn't trigger because of missing / bad GPS or missing track sets, or some other reason, but video is always an add-on. NB: Re...

Re: ReDrive sensor does not work

I assume it is some difference between script versions used for the beta and the production version. You can override the script installed by the production version by adding your own custom version. As this is developer stuff, any further questions in this need to be discussed in the developer area...

Re: OBDLink MX disabled

I deleted the name "ODBLink MX" in "Use Sensors Containing Name". Restarted all and + on ODB setting and connection made OK. The ODBLink MX still shows in the GPS but is disabled. Is that normal ? Does ODBLink also have a GPS? Thanks, Randy No, that's completely wrong. Please bl...

Re: Need help to interpret results

The acceleration peak occurs for both lineal and lateral acceleration (dotted line). So this looks like a general shake of the car. Acceleration (recorded by IMU sensors) is not used to measure performance, it is just about speed development (GPS or OBS). OBD will add better responsiveness for speed...

Re: No Daytona Track Set?

"Load Track" filters tracks available to those nearby by default. To get the full list, please switch from "Near By" to "All" in the top. We have plenty of Daytona configurations available.

Re: Is the App purchase price a one off payment or a subscription?

Probably permission to access GPS has been rejected when asked? Whenever you get a request for permissions when using LapTimer, please agree. The app will not work as expected otherwise. To restore upgrades, press Restore in LapTimer ‣ Administration ‣ Add-ons (iOS), or "repurchase" it fro...

Re: Easy way to compare laps?

Yes, select a lap you want to compare to the reference lap from Lap List and follow Data Recordings / Charts. This will include a win/loss analysis for every position on track. GrandPrix required. See the Train the Trainer document on www.gps-laptimer.de/documentation.
