Re: Harry’s LapTimer Grand Prix edition

You can add videos recorded using any action cam "after the fact". Once transferred and linked, they can be overlaid with lap data. A direct integration automating GoPro operation works up to HERO 7 only. In your case, use manually start and stop the 12 in the pits. Instructions are availa...

Re: orientation - phone mount in motorcycle tail

Hello, When using the motorbike preset, this mounting position will result in flipped longitudinal acceleration. I'd suggest to use that preset nevertheless: you can flip acceleration by dimension after the fact. To do this, select laps one by one and follow Data Recordings / Charts / G-G-Diagram. Y...

Re: Compatibility of Harry's Laptimer with Racebox Mini's Accelerometer

Racebox's accelerometer is not supported. Transferring this data on top of GPS would be too much for BT LE bandwidth. The only benefit would be the named fixed install position making LapTimer acceleration rotation obsolete. Smartphone IMU sensors are pretty precise and update rates are high.

Re: Support of the Heart rate sensor on the Galaxy Fit2/Mi Band 4

Provided these devices feed data into iOS's Health application, LapTimer will be able to use it. LapTimer does not integrate these sensors directly, but relies on the Health app.

Re: Laps split in two

There is no user interface to manipulate existing recordings. You can try and run LapTimer ‣ Lap List ‣ your combined lap ‣ Fixes ‣ second icon in the bottom ‣ Verify Lap to make LapTimer reevaluate the lap time. It may work, but isn't guaranteed.

Hello,

Thanks for pointing me to this. I will contact Racelogic and check whether they changed the API. In case it is unchanged, the change to a higher rate should be no problem.

Re: Amateur 6H endurance racing

Hello, We get requests on driver / pit communication from time to time. 99% of LapTimer users use to record data and video and share / analyze that data when back at home. This means adding this type of racing team support is rather custom development and not prioritized for product development beca...
