I just downgraded my firmware to 1.5.1. We'll see if that solves the problem.

Re: Dual XGPS160
Thanks, I have another report here in Germany. Same thing, XGPS stops delivering data for both LapTimer and Dual's app. - Harry I had exactly the same problem this past autocross event. It was extremely frustrating. I eventually put the phone and GPS in the glove compartment and gave up after the p...

Re: BRZ/FRS update rates?
I tried the ODBLink MX WiFi for the first time today at an event. It worked perfectly all day. No connection problems, and HLT connected quickly each time I slept the phone then turned it on again.
Note, this is NOT with a GoPro. Just the ODBLink with HLT.

Re: BRZ/FRS update rates?
Success! I rolled the dice and ordered an OBDLink MX WiFi. I figured most of the complaints involved the infrastructure mode needed to use it in concert with a GoPro, which I don't use. It seems to work fine, and I was able to get update rates of 18-20 Hz with CAN multi request enabled. And that is ...

BRZ/FRS update rates?
Could those people with BRZ/FRSs post what OBD2 update rates they're getting with HLT? I have a Chinese knockoff Kiwi PLX wifi clone, with an iPhone 5s and a XGPS160. I was getting about 2 Hz before enabling the CAN multi request option. Now I am up to 4-5 Hz but am wondering if I can get an even hi...

4 Hz rate with Emprum GPS on Iphone 5S
Hi, Since upgrading my Iphone 4 to a 5S, I've only been able to get ~4Hz update rates with Laptimer. I'm using an apple brand lightning to 30 pin adapter. I see rates between 3.5 and 4.3 Hz. Is this just a penalty of the adapter cable? I would get 4.5Hz or higher reliably with the iphone 4. Is there...

Re: Application shuts down
Mason, Are you somewhere warm? I have big issues with my iPhone 4 overheating and shutting down in Arizona. This is with autocross. I have found the following things help: 1. Don't turn on video mode until you need it. 2. Don't let the phone sit in the windshield mount and get baked in the sun. Remo...

Re: Accumulated time gap issue [SOLVED]
Turns out the issue was the fact that the autocross course in question had overlaping segments (a loop driven twice). The algorithm used to compute the accumulated time gap is not designed to accommodate this possibility. Since this is an unusual occurrence, it's not a big deal.

[SOLVED] Accumulated time gap issue
The data from my first use of laptimer seems to be good, but the accumulated time gap plot in the results view is way off. It starts out at zero in all the laps, but jumps to about -20 seconds a few seconds after the start, remains around that level until about 2/3 through the 48 second autocross ru...

Additional data export to KML file
Harry, It would be great to be able to view longitudinal acceleration, speed (more then just a few points) and OBDII data like throttle position and engine RPM as part of the exported KML file. Would it be possible to add a color coded line type visualization similar to that used inside the laptimer...
