Re: How to use Dyno?
Despite GoPoint's claimed issues with iOS 11 compatibility, I have managed to get my old BT1 to work with my iPhone X. I still only get sub-standard update rates though (max 4 Hz, typically 2-3 Hz). And it doesn't help if I try to tweak the CAN Multi Request settings. So long so good, the BT1 works ...

4) You can try turning on Multi CAN Requests in Expert Settings. v22 will come with auto-optimizations, you can wait for this too.

Under CAN Multi requests there are 4 options; 2/3 PIDs and adaptive/minimim. Which combo should I opt for?

Re: How to use Dyno?
As to my question 5), see response below from GoPoint’s support team. Probably calls for a revison of recommended OBD devices. iOS 11 has been a struggle. Hardware compatibility was an issue but the BT1A is approved. All the Gopoint Technology Apps needed to be modified. GP Auto, GP Drive, BT1 and t...

How to use Dyno?
I have Dyno functionality included in my Harry's Laptimer Grand Prix edition. I have used the lap timer for many years, however not the Dyno functionality. I have a Dual XGPS160 external GPS and a GoPoint BT1 OBD device. Some questions: 1) I'm still asked to define a track, and if I'm not near the t...

Re: LapTimer (Rookie, Petrolhead, GrandPrix) v17 announcemen
New v17 includes improved OBD features such as turbo boost. I have a GoPoint BT1 OBD device connected to my iPhone 4 via bluetooth. The car is a 2010 Nissan GT-R. Everything works fine (also did in previous v16 by the way...). My question is if I in video recording mode (and in overlaid video record...

Complicated process to overlay GoPro footage
I have just managed to get my GoPro footage overlaid as PiP. But the process was lengthy and complex. 1) Empty the SD card in my GoPro to my MacBook to get the raw video files to the MacBook. 2) Convert the raw video files to a format (720p) that can be imported into my iPhone 4 later on. 3) Import ...

Change master and PiP in multicam mode?
Thanks for excellent app. In preparation for my first trip to the Nordschleife later in April, I am trying to figure out how to use the HPT app to its fullness. With the multicam feature in the latest v17 I am trying to get the footage from my GoPro Hero 3 integrated in my overlaid video lap recordi...
