GPS out of sync / OBD drops out with Kiwi-style Adapter
Hi Harry, Please take a look at the following YouTube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbSQac9KxkQ I am using an iPhone 4. I did not change any sync/delay settings. Using Harry's Laptimer V.14. I am using the internal GPS and a cheap version of the Kiwi Wifi OBD sensor. I manually started the v...

Re: Those of you looking for a cheap Wifi OBD reader..
Yes, it needs a bit of massaging sometimes to actually transmit data. On my car, the engine needs to be physically turned on before I get data in laptimer. I just went to a track day and I noticed that sometimes laptimer loses the OBD data stream. I am not sure if it is the app having to process too...

Re: Video recording more than one lap
Harry, I like it!
I like being able to display a bit of video before and after the timed lap. It gives the viewer time to warm up and cool down
I look forward to v15. Thank you for your hard work.

Re: Those of you looking for a cheap Wifi OBD reader..
Yeah, it seems to work just as well. I don't know what kind of update rate the PLX one has, and maybe that is something that is car-dependent. I also got the FuzzyCar app for my iphone and it picks up all of the data. Fuel trims, coolant temp, intake temp, engine load, throttle position, rpm, manifo...

Re: Video recording more than one lap
If I may make a suggestion, How about a "Number of Laps to Record" option? I know the Ring is a large track, but for example on my local race track I can do a lap in about 1 minute and 30 seconds. The iphone should have no problem recording, say, three laps in a row before skipping one to ...
