Re: Recorded Video but no Laps were produced
Yes the video was created in HLT and I'm concerned that perhaps my GPS went off line. Contact email with link was sent through HLT. Dave

Recorded Video but no Laps were produced
Harry: I ran Laguna Seca yesterday for the first time and LapTimer performed great for the first two sessions. However, LapTimer did not create laps for the third session. I'm using an iP6S, v19.0.24, BT1 OBD reader and Dual XPS150 GPS. The third session was recorded and I see the video in Video Lis...

Re: Video cropped when using Hero3 as Master and iP4 as Cam
The youtube video comes at 360p only. To understand the effect, we need to find out the "real" resolution of the overlaid video first. Would you please verify the overlaid video is 1080p before submitting it to youtube? Good eye Harry as the video is 640 x 360. I converted in iMovie and o...

Re: Video cropped when using Hero3 as Master and iP4 as Cam
Do you know the HERO's width you used? I was using the 1080 resolution of the Hero 3. I just did a new overlay using the windshield mount Hero3 as the master and the iP4 for in cabin. I uploaded it so that you can see the result. This pr...

Video cropped when using Hero3 as Master and iP4 as Cam #2
Harry: Last week, I was on track with a Hero3 on the windshield and my iP4 mounted in the cabin. If I use the iP4 as the master, the pic in pic works fine with the Hero3 as cam #2. But if I switch them and then overlay, the aspect ratio is messed up and the video is stretched vertically and cropped ...

Re: BT1 Malfunction in Grand Prix
Please check if you have the latest firmware installed for the BT1 I launched the app and sure enough, new firmware downloaded and installed. As soon as I have a chance to get the car out, I'll let you know if all is well. Thanks, Dave Edit: I drove the track car last night and the BT1 was just fin...

BT1 Malfunction in Grand Prix
Harry: I was on track last Friday using the latest Grad Prix version, GoPoint BT1, Dual 150 GPS and a GoPro 3 running on my old iP4. For the first time, the BT1 failed in that HLT recorded nonsensical data such as negative revs, 300+ mph. This was the first and only time I have used this combo. Has ...

Re: Harry's data overlay to GoPro Video?
However, absolute simplicity is the key to success. I agree and I'm sure it'll be here soon. But in the meantime, the procedure isn't too hard. Just depends on how badly you want the overlay. Here's my procedure and comments appreciated as I'd like to streamline it if possible. 1. Copy GoPro file t...

Re: LapTimer (Rookie, Petrolhead, GrandPrix) v17 announcemen
Maybe you wait a little longer and try again by starting the AppStore app on your iPad mini, select "Updates", select "Purchased". You should see the same app purchased on the iPad mini like on your iPhone. All is well on my Mini. The App Store wanted me to verify payment info w...

Re: LapTimer (Rookie, Petrolhead, GrandPrix) v17 announcemen
To get a copy to the iPad, follow the same process: first download the originally purchases app (e.g. Petrolhead / Pro), and run the InApp purchase again. In both transactions, you will not be charged a second time (as long as you use the same iTunes ID). The app updated exactly as you described an...
