I bought Petrolhead on the iPhone, and may have purchased GP Edition on the iPad, maybe there wasn't an upgrade option at the time, or I didn't realize that there was, I can't remember. Then iTunes must have automatically installed GP Edition on the iPhone when I did a sync.

Harry I upgraded to GP edition. On my iPhone, however, both the Petrolhead and GP editions remain. If I try to delete the Petrolhead, I get a warning about deleting the app and all of its data. How do I delete the Petrolhead edition without losing the data for GP edition?

My guess is they should not be too different - although the factors that influence accuracy for transponder systems are different ones compared...
